2nd CIDAG, the International Conference on Design and Graphic Printing – ISEC + IPT
2nd CIDAG, the International Conference on Design and Graphic Printing, organized by ISEC – Higher Institute for Education and Science and IPT – Polytechnic Institute of Tomar, Portugal, will take place in Tomar from 24 to 26 of October, 2012. This event will provide a unique opportunity to contact the most renowned experts from the manufacture industry, universities, colleges, national and international institutes of R&D, and all actors associated with Design and Graphic Printing.
We participate in the event with two papers and presentations: “Design and Emotional Value Creation. The experience enhanced by multidimensional communication” and “Academy + SMEs + Legislation: Innovation in collaborative environments. Development and networking in the habitat sector, from a systemic perspective”.

Abstract: In the interactions that characterize contemporary life, it is undeniable the fundamental role that communications are playing in the creation of new socio-cultural perspectives, business or personal relations, where distances, times or spaces are not a limitation. (Etchevers, 2006) In the area of value creation around products and services, current ways of pre-purchase approach, experiences during purchase and especially after it in the zone of experiences, set up conditions around a number of intangibles that lead to decisive answers on behalf of users/consumers related to sensory, emotional a cognitive aspects, brand equity and customization, among other keys, as well as how they are channeled, and here, multidimensional communication is vital.

Innovación y creación de valor en productos y servicios en el marco de la comunicación multidimensional. Un enfoque desde el diseño estratégico y la orientación al consumidor.

Resumen: Se plantea una exploración de la innovación y la creación de valor desde el diseño estratégico como ámbito para enfocar su análisis, y desde contenidos relacionados con el diseño orientado al consumidor, en productos y servicios, como eventos donde convergen múltiples factores clave para guiar su gestión, en el marco de la comunicación multidimensional que caracteriza en la actualidad las relaciones entre empresas/organizaciones y usuarios/consumidores, signadas por nuevos medios, prácticas, códigos y asociaciones, en un contexto donde cada vez existen menos barreras de distancia, tiempo y espacio, en el curso de lo que algunos autores denominan la sociedad de ensueño.
Abstract: An exploration around innovation and value creation is presented, from the point of view of the strategic design to focus the analysis, and from contents related to consumer-oriented design in products and services, as events where multiple key factors converge to guide their management in the frame of multidimensional communication that characterizes the current relations between enterprises/organizations and users/consumers, marked by new media, practices, codes and associations, in a context where there are fewer barriers of distance, time and space, in the course of what some authors call the dream society.

Stockholm design week 2012

The fair of furniture and lighting to be held in Stockholm, Sweden from february 07th to 11th 2012, is the world’s largest in its kind for the meeting of scandinavian design. Diferent seminars will be conducted in the framework of the event and include topics rnaging from biomimicry and sustainability, to lean manufacturing, as a challenge to meet market expectations in the furniture industry.
La feria del mueble y la iluminación que tendrá lugar en Estocolmo, Suecia, del 07 al 11 de febrero de 2012, es la más grande del mundo en su clase para el encuentro del diseño escandinavo. Diferentes seminarios se estarán llevando a cabo en el marco del evento y comprenden tópicos que incluyen desde el biomimetismo y la sostenibilidad, hasta el lean manufacturing, como reto para afrontar expectativas del mercado en la industria del mueble.
In the context of the fair, will be taking place the Stockholm Design Week, with over sixty high profile events throughout the city, in connection with the design theme.
